What is a commercial pool chemical controller? It is a device that continuously measures pool water chemistry — typically pH and ORP — and automatically activates dosing pumps to add disinfectant and pH control, keeping water within a safe range without manual adjustment. PoolPal SCMC™ (Smart Chemical Monitoring & Controller) goes further: a patented AI runs onboard the device to control dosing, track chemical inventory, monitor pump and filter health, and raise predictive alarms before problems become violations, complaints or closures.

Vendor-neutral probes — any NSF-certified pH, ORP and chlorine sensor — read water chemistry continuously, as fast as every 20 ms, capturing pH, ORP and free chlorine plus 100+ performance metrics per pool.
